The snowstorm has sent Port Charles into a frenzy, with couples sharing kisses, enemies turning into friends, and Wyndemere out of power. But sneaked into one of General Hospital’s snow-covered sets was an Easter egg that Sabrina Carpenter fans won’t want to miss.

Key Takeaways

  • Bad Jen Cafe has become Port Charles’ latest hot spot.
  • Lulu and Nathan got stuck in the empty cafe during the snowstorm.
  • The cafe’s menu features a fun nod to singer Sabrina Carpenter.

That’s That GH, Espresso

Bad Jen Cafe has been Port Charles’ latest hot spot for all the coffee and drama. It’s where Emma (Braedyn Bruner) and Gio (Giovanni Mazza) like to bring Outback, where Rocco (Finn Carr) first got to know Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), and where Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) often go on coffee dates.

However, this cafe was most recently a temporary shelter for Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Nathan (Ryan Paevey) after the storm got Nathan’s car stuck in a ditch. The two spent the night turning Two Truths and A Lie into a drinking game that inevitably led to a kiss, and while those scenes captured the start of the drama ahead when Maxie (Kirsten Storms) wakes up from her coma, they also featured an Easter egg that eagle-eyed viewers may have only caught if they’re privy to pop culture—or listen to the radio.

On the big menu behind the counter, you’ll see the many different types of coffee the cafe offers. But among the cappuccinos and lattes is a drink called Sabrina’s Espresso, a clear nod to pop singer Sabrina Carpenter and her 2024 hit “Espresso.”

While Carpenter has no direct ties to GH, she did star on Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World alongside former Days of our Lives actor Peyton Meyer.

GH is known for throwing pop culture Easter eggs into scenes. Last year, a Star Trek book could be found on Laura’s (Genie Francis) coffee table as a nod to Francis’ real-life husband and Star Trek alum Jonathan Frakes. Before that, it was noticed that the combination to Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) safe was Benard’s birthday.
