General Hospital turned Drew Cain into someone viewers no longer recognize. When Billy Miller was in the role, Drew was a huge hit. His chemistry with Kelly Monaco was through the roof. When he left, it felt like GH was missing something.

Cameron Mathison took over the role, and it’s been downhill for the character. The one-beloved character is arguably one of the most-hated, and his life is currently in peril after being shot in the back — twice. Drew has done several terrible things on GH, but these five misdeeds are the worst.

Framing Tracy Quartermaine

Drew chose to blame being drugged on Tracy (Jane Elliot). He believed she was the one who had him losing his mind in the bar with the escort, but instead, it was Portia (Brook Kerr) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) who concocted and followed through with the plan.

He concluded that it was Tracy because of their meeting before he did body shots at the bar. Fortunately, Cody (Josh Kelly) came through for his boss and proved Drew wrong during a press conference, even if it was made-up. Viewers were happy to see Tracy vindicated and Drew looking like a jerk.

Using Scout as a Pawn

The situation between Scout (Cosette Abinante) and her family is strained because of Drew. He has alienated her from the only family she has known, including her big brother Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) and her pseudo-brother, Rocco (Finn Carr).

He has effectively used her to lure Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) in, using the loss of Sam (Kelly Monaco) as a reason for the two to get close. Drew wants to hang on to Scout because she is his bargaining chip, but so far, no one has been willing to sell their soul for Scout.

The damage he has done is beyond repair, and moving forward, she will hopefully be able to see Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), her aunts, Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos), and her big brothers.

Preying on Willow

Despite knowing her past, Drew set his sights on Michael’s (Rory Gibson) wife. Willow has perpetually had a hero complex, leading her to choose men who somehow “saved” her. Drew went to find Liesl (Kathleen Obrecht) and save her from being held captive so that Willow would beat cancer.

That was the beginning of his involvement with her. From there, he continued to plot and move in on her while living at the Quartermaine mansion. He effectively ended her marriage to Michael and took her for himself. However, he used her dependence on him to isolate her from everyone she cared about, leading to her losing her children.

Michael threatens Drew, so he ensured the two could not communicate while Michael was in Germany, healing. Despite all of his misgivings, including sleeping with her mother, Willow is still not ready to cut all ties with Drew.

Using Stella to Get to Curtis

One of Drew’s most recent misdeeds was throwing Stella (Vernee Watson) under the bus to punish Curtis (Donnell Turner). He has also attempted to take down every member of Curtis’ family, including Portia, and used Kai (Jens Astrup) to get to Trina (Tabyana Ali).

Martin (Michael E. Knight) spoke about how Stella helped him. Drew turned around and stabbed him in the back by having her investigated. It is only one of the more vile things he has done, mainly because Stella is one of the least problematic people in Port Charles.

Using Wiley to get to Michael

Drew isn’t above playing dirty on GH. When Michael and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) welcomed their daughter, he used Wiley (Viron Weaver). While talking where the little guy could overhear, Drew said that Michael would love Wiley and Amelia less with the new baby’s arrival.

Initially, Willow didn’t believe that had happened. Michael was furious over what happened, knowing what Wiley told him Drew said was true. This was one of the lowest things he has done, proving he is just as vile as viewers think.
