Dante Got An Unexpected Visitor On November 6 General Hospital

As Dante continued grieving his fiancee, he received an unexpected visitor on the November 6, 2024 episode of General Hospital.

It’s Always Open

After Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) emotional goodbye to Sam (ex-Kelly Monaco) at the hospital, he found himself back at Sam’s penthouse, where he’d been living with her and their kids. He stared at the dark, empty living room until he heard someone come through the door.

Sonny (Maurice Benard, who recently revealed how he manifested working with a GH co-star) walked in, but when Dante kept looking out I to the hallway, his father wondered what was going on. “Nothing, I thought for a second maybe Sam was home,” Dante told him.

Despite Dante’s history of PTSD, he thankfully wasn’t suffering another breakdown, and instead confided in his father about being unable to be back in his home. He noted it was too quiet and too empty, and wondered who would decorate for holidays now.

A Mother’s Love

Sonny wasn’t the only one to pay Dante a visit. It warmed viewers’ hearts when Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) showed up, surprisingly not bearing lasagna. With Dante taking a shower, she and Sonny first reconnected until Dante came downstairs and his mother grabbed him in a hug.

Olivia has been seen on screen less and less in recent years, and scenes with Dante have been even less frequent compared to the dozens they used to share. LoCicero moved from contract status to recurring in 2015, but still shows up in Port Charles when Olivia is needed the most.
