The kids of Port Charles are about to be in for some drama on General Hospital after several people pursued custody battles on the June 28, 2024 episode.
Baby Mamas Got Drama
After Sonny (Maurice Benard) informed Ava (Maura West) that she’ll be hearing from his attorney about Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) after kicking her out of the penthouse, Ava immediately jumped into action to keep her daughter. She met with Laura and asked the mayor if she would be on her side when she takes Sonny to court. Laura agreed Sonny has gone off the deep end recently, a d after a little persuading, agreed to take her side against Sonny.
Meanwhile, Kristina (Kate Mansi) let it slip to Blaze that she intends on taking a maternity leave after the baby is born. Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) immediately wondered why her girlfriend would need a maternity leave, and when Kristina revealed her plans to pursue custody of the baby if Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ (Tahj Bellow) break up, she asked Blaze if she would be her co-parent.
Despite once saying she sometimes wishes the baby was hers, Blaze let her down easy by saying it wasn’t the right time for her to be a mom. Kristina agreed it wasn’t the right time for her either, but decided if TJ ever fought for custody of the baby, she wanted to be able to get custody for Molly’s sake.
Full House
All this custody talk comes after Chase (Josh Swickard) won temporary custody of Violet (Jophielle Love) after Finn’s (ex-Michael Easton, who said goodbye to GH this week) drinking landed him in rehab. But today, Chase found out a condition to letting Violet live at the Quartermaine Mansion.
Tracy (Jane Elliot) told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) that Monica (Leslie Charleson) only agreed to it as long as she and Chase move in too. Brook Lynn told Chase they would get their own suite, and despite the house being full of Quartermaines and Cerullos and Falconeris, Chase agreed for the sake of his niece.
Who do you think will come out on top of all these custody battles? Let us know in the comments.
