Sarah Sherman is joining General Hospital as a guest performer. The comedian, who is also on Saturday Night Live, appears in two upcoming episodes.
Sherman’s episodes will air Thursday, September 5 and Friday, September 6, People reported. She’ll portray Ms. Finch, who is described as a spirited etiquette teacher. Right now, storyline dictates that Lois (Rena Sofer) needs to get rid of her Brooklyn accent.
Sherman told the publication that she enjoyed her time on set in Port Charles. “I had the best time of my life and I couldn’t believe I got to act in a scene with ‘TRACY QUARTERMAINE’ [Jane Elliot]! I was so nervous about flubbing my lines, because I was surrounded by pros who memorize like a billion pages of dialogue a day. Also I met ‘Sonny Corinthos’ [Maurice Benard], so I can die happy!”
News of Sherman’s guest role on GH comes shortly after the soap said goodbye to Adam J. Harrington’s, Jagger Cates when Sonny shot him last week in a bit of a surprising twist.

People shared a preview of one scene with Lois and Ms. Finch, and it sounds like it will be a lot of fun when it airs over the next few days. September is shaping up to be a big month for returns on GH as the new co-head writer makes a mark on the soap.
