Add Emma Samms to the list of returning fan favorites on General Hospital. The actress will reprise her role as Holly Sutton.
Holly Is Back
According to Variety, Samms will be back in Port Charles by early September. The last time Holly was on the canvas, she merely helped stop Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) from wiping out 80% of the population of the world, which will be tough to top this time.
The last time she exited the soap, Samms told Soap Hub, “It was the perfect ending in as much that it wasn’t really an ending.” Holly left the canvas at that time, and she was free to search for her son Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons). “It left the door open for so much more for Holly and Robert [Scorpio, Tristan Rogers],” the actress continued.
This time, Holly’s return will be around the same time Jonathan Jackson returns as Lucky Spencer. Samms has a long history with the popular ABC daytime drama, starting back in 1982, and she’s had many loves on the soap, including Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers).
