General Hospital viewers have wondered where Dr. Terry Randolph has been. Her portrayer, Cassandra James, recently revealed some news that is sure to put a smile on her fans’ faces.
Dr. Terry Randolph Will Be Back Soon
James shared a post on Threads discussing her status at GH. “First day on set since October. Almost half a year. Choosing gratitude because I know most actors have waited longer,” she acknowledged. “Just imagine if the job you trained to do, that you’re good at and you love was consistently demonstrated to be ephemeral. That having a second job was not only normalized but systemically suggested. When you come home and stream our work on your TV, artists are wondering why we rarely feel valued enough to make our job a living.”
Fans responded to the actress positively and with empathy. One wrote, “As a full-time freelance writer, I can sympathize. As a fan of the show, I’ve been wondering where the heck Terry’s been hiding. Hoping you get a juicy storyline this time!”
“Congratulations! Being an actor is a dream but also so much hard work!” another chimed in. “Finally! I was just ranting about not seeing you on GH. And, then they made a reference to ‘co-chief’ and I yelled at the tv, where the hell is the co-chief!!” a happy viewer mentioned.
Some viewers also mentioned what they hoped to see when Terry is back on the canvas in Port Charles. “Hope to see more Teri [sic] and Yuri [Cyrus Hobbi, who recently paid a touching tribute to a mentor] scenes and with Liz [Rebecca Herbst]! You’ve been missed onscreen, Cassandra 💙 hope the new HW team writes better stories for your character.”
Others hoped that the soap would give Terri an in-depth storyline that would expand James’s character and keep her on screen more frequently. We’ll let you know as soon as we have any details on what James has filmed.
