Chase and Brook Lynn have been unsuccessfully trying to conceive for months. And Chase finally found out why on the January 27, 2025, episode of General Hospital.
Negative
While Chase (Josh Swickard) welcomed Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) back to the Quartermaine’s, he ignored the call from his doctor. Instead, he talked Willow through whether she and the kids would be better off there or at Nina’s (Cynthia Watros). After Chase was done assuring Willow she’s not as horrid of a person as everyone thinks, he got an email from his doctor.

He admitted he had no idea how to read the test results and asked Willow for help, but when she read them, her face fell. She suggested he speak to his doctor, but he pressed her for answers. She finally revealed that the test indicated that he was unable to father a child.
Teenage Dream
As for Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), while she’s been worried something on her end is standing in the way of having a baby, she’s let the memories of giving her first child up for adoption weigh on her. The video teaser for January 28 previews Lois (Rena Sofer) asking her daughter if she felt pressured into doing something she didn’t want to as a teenager, obviously referring to the adoption.
As Port Charles gets closer and closer to learning that Gio (Giovanni Mazza, who recently dished on his character’s parents) is presumably the baby Brook Lynn gave up, the fact that Brook Lynn didn’t want to raise her baby while Chase is unable to have one will undoubtedly cause a rift between the couple. And if Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is indeed the father, that will make for some very awkward work days at the PCPD.
How do you think Chase will react to learning about Brook Lynn’s baby? Let us know in the comments.
