The glamour, music, and drama of General Hospital’s beloved Nurses Ball returns beginning May 20, and the show has lined up a special musical guest to help turn up the volume. Actress and singer YDE—known to many from her Nickelodeon days—will make her GH debut with a performance airing May 22.
GH Nurses Ball 2025 Steps Up Performances
Deadline reported that Breanna Nicole Yde, now professionally known as YDE, steps into the spotlight at the fictitious Port Charles charity gala, introduced by none other than Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). While YDE is a new name to the world of soaps, longtime fans might recognize her from roles on The Haunted Hathaways, School of Rock, and Netflix’s Malibu Rescue. Her Nickelodeon performances even earned her a Kids’ Choice Award nomination.

Since then, she’s pivoted to music full-time, releasing the singles “Stopped Buying Diamonds” and “BlindLife” through Warner Records, followed by her 2022 EP, Send Help.
As always, the Nurses Ball will feature stunning fashion, dramatic surprises, and unforgettable performances—all with the goal of raising awareness for HIV/AIDS. GH favorites Cameron Mathison (Drew) and Cynthia Watros (Nina) will co-host the red carpet.
A major surprise guest and a dramatic reveal are also teased for later in the week. But for now, all eyes are on YDE and what promises to be a show-stopping moment in the ballroom.
