Lucas and Brad could reconcile

Lucas and Brad were once a great couple on General Hospital and had the potential for a happily ever after. After all the bad, could they be happy again?

When They Were Good

Lucas (Van Hansis) and Brad (Perry Shen) met at the Floating Rib in 2014 and got engaged during the Nurse’s Ball in 2015. Their wedding in 2016 took place at Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house. They were happy together and even decided to adopt a baby. That was when the trouble began.

When They Were Bad

Brad always had a knack for getting into trouble, but switching babies took it to another level. The baby the couple adopted sadly passed away right after Brad brought him home. He didn’t know how to break the news to his husband so he went along with Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) plan to take her and Michael’s (Chad Duell) newborn son and pretend it was theirs.

The secret tortured Brad, but he never came clean. Eventually, the truth came out, and they gave Michael his son. Lucas was devastated, divorced his husband, and moved away. Brad went to prison.

And Now

Lucas has returned to Port Charles and is working at GH. So is Brad, who has made it clear that he still loves his ex and wants him back. Lucas is understandably guarded but shows signs that he still cares for Brad.

There is no question that Brad is a screw-up, but he is trying to stay out of trouble and prove himself. Even with Cody (Josh Kelly) getting involved with Selina (Lydia Look) again, Brad is adamant that he doesn’t want anything to do with his aunt’s business.

When Lucas overheard his conversation with Cody, Brad immediately told his ex-husband the truth and that he was not involved with Selina. Lucas smiled because he was happy with the honesty.

This couple could work better than last time if Brad remains truthful. They have a lot of love but a lack of trust, which they need to work on. If they take it slow, they could live happily ever after. Dare we say even adopt a baby? Are you rooting for Brad and Lucas? Let us know in the comments.
