General Hospital Captures All My Children Reunion Between Alexa Havins & Michael E. Knight

Pine Valley alum reuniting in Port Charles!

 Comments

In recent years, General Hospital has been full of familiar faces from Pine Valley and Llanview, and their most recent reunion was between two beloved actors from All My Children.

Babe and Tad Together Again

Long before he started playing Martin—brother to Laura (Genie Francis) and Cyrus (Jeff Kober) and Port Charles’ newest attorney—Michael E. Knight portrayed Tad on AMC off and on since the 1980s. Now that he’s back after a short absence from GH, he’s reunited with a former AMC co-star.

Longtime soap fans may remember Alexa Havins as Babe on AMC, a role she held from 2003 to 2008. Now, Havins is playing Lulu, who just so happens to be Martin’s niece.

The pair recently shared scenes together in the Quartermaine Mansion, where they needed to combat Jane Elliot’s Tracy during her fight to keep Michael’s (ex-Chad Duell) children at the house rather than with their mother, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). GH captured the reunion on Instagram with a slew of behind-the-scenes photos featuring Havins, Knight, and Elliot on the mansion set.

The post simply captioned “T.G.I.F.” alongside a camera emoji, but eagle-eyed viewers were quick to note the AMC reunion.

Fan Faves

“Michael has known Alexa since she was a Babe,” one commenter quipped, while another said, “Aww Babe and Tad back together.”

Of course, Havins and Knight weren’t the only ones pictured who appeared on AMC. From 1984 to 1986, Elliot portrayed Cynthia.

“Jane is hands down the best out there!!” a viewer complimented Elliot, while another shared their love for AMC. “Yes, these wonderful actors were on my favorite soap AMC. Oh, how I missed [sic] that show along with OLTL.”
