General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison Drops Divorce Shocker

Cameron Mathison announced that he and his wife Vanessa are headed for divorce. The General Hospital star shared the surprising news with fans on social media.

On July 31, GH star Cameron Mathison posted a card with text and photos of him and his wife Vanessa on Instagram. He also captioned the pics with the words from the card that read, “After 22 years of marriage, we have made the difficult decision to part ways. We enter this new chapter with deep love, kindness, and respect for each other. We hold gratitude in our hearts for the wonderful years we shared together.”

Mathison, who also hosts the game show Beat the Bridge and had recently explained how he and his family joyously watch game shows together, continued with, “Our children have been and will continue to be our highest priority, and we will forever share in our devotion and love for them. We remain friends, and both wish the best for one another. We sincerely appreciate your respect for our family’s privacy during this transition.”

The couple first met when both were pursuing modeling careers in the 1990s. Vanessa had also guest-starred on GH a few times.
