It’s no secret General Hospital star Bradford Anderson is a phenomenal singer. Now, the multi-talented performer got to live out a life-long dream involving his singing career and the Sacramento Kings.

A Dream Come True

On Friday, March 29, 2024, Anderson had the honor of performing the National Anthem at the Sacramento Kings vs. Dallas Mavericks game in his new hometown of Sacramento.

Anderson told DailyDrama.com, where he hosts the Daily Drama podcast with GH co-star Steve Burton, “I’ve always wanted to sing the anthem somewhere, but the opportunity never came up.” Spinelli’s portrayer revealed that the team was seeking submissions for anthem singers and he jumped at the chance. “I love sports, I get so excited to attend live sports… singing the anthem just seemed like a fun way to be do something I love at a place I love to be.”

Port Charles Idol

This was far from the first time Anderson has gifted the world with his singing talent, though admitted to DailyDrama.com, “I’ve performed in front of plenty of people in many different situations, but never 18,000 strangers.”

The first time he sang on GH was in 2009 when Spinelli got up the courage to perform during karaoke night at Jake’s, serenading his love Maxie (Kirsten Storms) with “I Wanna Know What Love Is.” Spinelli later went on to perform at several Nurses Balls, and just recently serenaded his now-girlfriend, Maxie, all over again during a karaoke night at Charlie’s.

Soap fans also got to hear Anderson sing when he was a member of the band Port Chuck, which also featured Burton (Jason, GH, ex-Harris, Days of Our Lives, ex-Dylan, The Young and the Restless), Scott Reeves (ex-Steve, GH, ex-Ryan, Y&R), and Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny, GH, Stefan, DAYS). The now-disbanded group toured the country several times as a cover band from 2009-2013, giving GH fans an opportunity to see their favorite actors live in concert.
