Beloved Soap Star Tyler Christopher Reveals His Exciting New Project

General Hospital and Days of our Lives fans still missing seeing Tyler Christopher on their TV screens but the actor continues to work and has recently revealed his next exciting project.

“To quote the father of modern acting ‘There are no small roles, only small actors,'” revealed Christopher on his official Instagram. “I am truly grateful for every opportunity to take on a new role and while my part as Richard in ‘Murder, Anyone?’ was modest it was an honor to be part of this project.” The handsome actor goes on to explain what fans who see him in his new role can expect.

“In this dark comedy two playwrights are tasked with creating a new avant- garden, surrealistic, mind bending neo-thriller and find their story coming to life as they write,” he wrote. This will certainly be a change of pace for fans who are used to seeing him play characters on the soaps, though DAYS fans would probably find his version of Stefan O. DiMera to be rather dark, though certainly not comedic. Certainly Nikolas Cassadine can be considered that as well since he was known as the Dark Prince.

There’s also the chance for you to meet Christopher, which could be an amazing opportunity for some lucky fans. “I am pleased to be able to attend a screening of this film on Saturday, October 15th at the Oh Scares Horror International Film Festival. This film will be shown at 5 pm and tickets are available on @eventbrite. See you there!”

Tyler Christopher has continued to champion mental health, having revealed his bipolar struggles with former GH costar Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) on his podcast State Of Mind, as well as in an interview with Soap Hub. Needless to say, he has the soap community’s fans cheering him on.
