The Baby’s Funeral Ended In A Sister Showdown On August 22 General Hospital

Emotions ran high as Molly and TJ buried their daughter on the August 22, 2024 episode of General Hospital, but Kristina’s ran the highest.

Everyone gathered at the church to comfort Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ (Tajh Bellow, who chatted with SoapHub about his character’s heartbreaking loss) during Baby Irene’s funeral, but when seeing the tiny coffin became too much, Molly ran out of the church in tears. That was when an unexpected guest approached her.

Ric (Rick Hearst, who returned to GH today after eight years) consoled his daughter and walked her back into the church as everyone got seated for the service. After secretly revealing she had named the baby Adela after Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) mother, Kristina (Kate Mansi) became the most upset during the funeral, interrupting Jordan (Tanisha Harper) to make her own speech and then sobbing as they prepared to head to the gravesite.

Battle Of The Baby Mamas

One by one, everyone left a pink rose on the baby’s burial site. Kristina was last to approach it, saying, “I love you, my sweet Adela.” Those words turned Molly’s devastation into fury as she spun around, asking Kristina what she had just called her daughter.

The sisters had it out over the baby’s grave, and while Kristina insisted she was devastated over the loss, Molly told her sister to drop the grieving mother act and finally laid into her for being the reason her baby died.
