The Nelle Reveal: THIS Is What GH Made Fans Wait For?

We sat there with our jaws dropped last Friday as Nelle finally revealed her real story and motive behind ruining Carly’s life–and not because it was such a shocking and electric story. In fact, our jaws were dropped because all we could think was–really, that’s it?

It seems Soap Hub staffers weren’t the only ones feeling this way. We asked fans what they thought, and they pretty much agree–this story is a MESS.

THIS Was A Payoff?
Out of about 8,000 votes, a full 87% thought, “Reveal? Payoff, what payoff?” You’re hopping mad you had to endure months of Nelle’s goody-goody, shiny-hair act while Carly fell for it hook, line, and sinker. You were expecting a “no way” moment that would be satisfying, not a “no way” moment that left you scratching your head and ready to throw a “Caroline” baby rattle at the TV.

Okay, Some Of You Liked It
A very small 6% of you did like what you saw and were thrilled with the powerhouse performances by Laura Wright and Chloe Lanier. You like learning what makes Nelle tick, even if it was a less-than-surprising reveal.

The Rest? Are You Serious, GH?
The final 7% thought the whole thing added up to not just no payoff, but a “stupid” story that made no sense. Why would Nelle believe Carly went to her adoptive father she didn’t even know for a kidney? You get it if Carly somehow had a biological sister that she thought would be a match for Joss, but an adoptive one? That’s just absurd, and you really hope there’s somehow more to this story we have yet to learn.
