General Hospital has not revealed who Nathan is or where he was for seven years. After protecting Rocco, it looks like he may be one of the good guys after all.
Key Takeaways
- Nathan was eager to help Jason help Rocco.
- We still don’t know Nathan’s situation.
- Viewers have assumed that Nathan is working with Cullum and Sidwell.
- Nathan has been recently acting like one of the good guys.
Nathan Helped Save Rocco
Poor Jason (Steve Burton) was hauled off to who knows where by the WSB, but better him than Rocco (Finn Carr). From the moment the teen fired the shot into Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) back, it was obvious that Jason would take the blame. He would never let Rocco go down for saving his life.
What wasn’t as obvious was Nathan (Ryan Paevey, who recently broke down the understanding between Nathan and Jason) backing up Jason’s story without blinking an eye. “What’s the play here?” was the first thing he asked when he saw the scene. Then he rushed Rocco away and brought him home to Lulu (Alexa Havins). Jason and Nathan probably saved Rocco’s life.
Nathan’s Not A Bad Guy
There has been constant speculation that Nathan is one of the bad guys and that he is working with Cullum and Sidwell (Carlo Rota). There are signs that he isn’t the old Nathan that everyone loved. Something is definitely up with him, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that he has anything to do with Faison’s final project.
Nathan cares about Lulu, so he cares about her kids. There is empathy there, which Sidwell and especially Cullum do not have. He was also happy to work with Jason, not against him.
Nathan ran to Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) to get her side of the story. He believed her when she said Jason was trying to save her life. Then he rushed her out of the hospital to see Jason before he was taken away. He was caring and kind toward his sister when she needed him.
Who is this mysterious person who is so like the old Nathan in some ways, but so different in others? Hopefully, the truth will soon be revealed.
