Nancy Lee Grahn Eats Her Words On Marriage In Hilarious Throwback

Fans who have followed the long career of General Hospital star Nancy Lee Grahn probably wouldn’t be surprised to know that there’s video out there of the actress joking about never getting married. The Daytime Emmy-winner recently shared a hilarious clip, knowing that this is the year she will eat her words.

The actress recently took to Twitter to share the video in which she recalls a story of a moment with her beloved daughter, Kate. “Oh look, there’s a bride, Kate. Look now, you’ll never see it from Mommy,” she says to a laughing crowd.

Grahn shared the video with the following caption, “In 2001 letting my daughter @kategrahn know that mommy has been & will always be happily single. Yep. Never say never. Save the date July 31, 2020 6-9 pm LA event/ Bridal Shower. Mommy’s getting hitched. Details coming.”

Her self-deprecating humor continued when good pal and former GH/Santa Barbara (now The Bold and the Beautiful) scribe Michele Val Jean inquired about it. “Is this for fans or friends or both?”

It didn’t take long for Grahn to respond with, “Fans for this one. There’ll be one at the Hollywood bowl for all those in my life that never thought it could happen.”

Poor Val Jean didn’t get the joke immediately and answered back hilariously, “You can fill the Hollywood Bowl for your bridal shower?! Damn girl!” But the star who plays Alexis quickly explained, “lots of ppl like miracles. … No I can’t,” making Val Jean laugh.

But all of that is great news for fans who want to help the star celebrate her miracle of getting hitched! It’s time to mark off July 31 — which in a bit of irony for SB fans, happens to be the birthday of Grahn’s former onscreen husband Lane Davies, who played Mason to her Julia.
