On General Hospital (GH), Drew doesn’t know much about his past because his mind was erased and replaced with Jason’s (Steve Burton) memories.
Unfortunately, viewers don’t know much about Kim’s (Tamra Braun) past because she… hasn’t talked much about it.
We know she’s Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) mom, and that – she says – she raised him alone. But that’s a lot of blank years during which we’re just supposed to assume she was a mom and a doctor and… nothing else.
Is Kim keeping secrets from Drew (Billy Miller)? Here’s what over 10,000 viewers suspect:
Too Good To Be True?
For 89% of you, hoping that Kim is keeping a secret is about all that’s keeping you interested. Isn’t Kim just a little too perfect, otherwise?
Supermom! (Even if her kid is whiny… and has lousy taste in girlfriends.) Super-doctor! (Hey, she hasn’t stolen any embryos as far as we know, that’s got to count for something.) All around pleasant person.

Yawn. Where’s the drama? Where’s the angst? Where are the secrets? Why was Kim so chill about Drew’s return? Why isn’t she dying for him to regain his memories? What does she know that Drew doesn’t? And how long until at least we – if not the rest of Port Charles – find out?
Let Her Be
What’s wrong with being nice… and devoid of secrets, 10% stubbornly counter. Kim seems to be an uncomplicated person. That’s actually kind of refreshing.
Port Charles is full of people keeping secrets and lying just because… they know they live in a soap opera. Maybe Kimmy don’t play that? Maybe she likes keeping herself above the drama, and living her own life.
Of course, getting entangled with Julian (William deVry) is not the optimal way to keep doing that, but, who knows? Maybe Kim will be able to tame him in a way Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) never could.
