Move Over Julexis: Is The Tide Turning For General Hospital Fans?

When Julian was released from prison WAY early with Alexis’s help, it seemed the next logical step would be a Julexis reunion on General Hospital (GH). But, it doesn’t seem to be going that way at all. And, that may be for the best.

After all, Julexis did “jump the shark” so to speak when Julian (William deVry) became physically abusive and held a dagger to his wife’s neck. Sure, a retconned story explained that away–he was being forced to do this by his nutty sister–but for some it seemed too late.

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is now out there waffling with a semi-thing with Finn (Michael Easton) and Julian seems to be developing more than a semi-thing with Kim (Tamara Braun). Soap Hub asked if you like what you see with Julian, aka Charlie, and his new gal pal.

Time To Move On
Well, out of nearly 7,000 votes, 66% of you are intrigued. After the boundless Julexis popularity of just two years ago, that number is rather surprising and high. But, when you throw abuse into a relationship, you may not be able to come back.

That doesn’t mean the alleged abuser who didn’t really mean it is persona non grata with fans.

It just means he needs to move on and keep sister Liv out of his life in case she tells him to try to kill his next girlfriend.

But, seriously, to most of you, Julian and Kim are just real. She knows who he is and she doesn’t care. He really does seem to be trying to change, and sometimes change means moving on completely. Yes, it’s clear Julian still has feelings for Alexis, but the tide is turning.

Not There Yet
Of course, there is 33% of you who do not like Julian and Kim together at all. Maybe you like the chemistry between Drew and Kim or maybe you’re just not ready to give up on Julexis just yet–if ever…
