Most Wanted? Should Valerie’s General Hospital Comeback Be Full-Time?

General Hospital has never known exactly what to do with Valerie. She arrived as a long-lost Spencer – just as the Spencers were being phased out of Port Charles.

She slept with Dante while he was married to Lulu (Emme Rylan). She got kidnapped, as all women in Port Charles are wont to do, sooner or later. She dated Curtis (Donnell Turner), and then she got paired with Chase (Josh Swickard) to do basic cop stuff.

But viewers have been seeing more of Valerie (Brytni Sarpy), and there’s a movement afoot to pair her up with Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), who doesn’t exactly have much of a purpose these days, either.

Would you like to see more of Valerie? Here’s how almost 5,000 feel.

Ho Yay!
Absolutely, 62% of you cheer. First of all, it wouldn’t hurt Port Charles to have a little more color on the canvas. And a few more Spencers wouldn’t be amiss, either. (Bobbie and Lucas who?)

But, it’s the possibility of Kristina and Valerie that really has you excited. Ever since Kristina broke up with Parker (Ashley Jones) and blamed that for her lack of college degree and career prospects, she’s been useless.

(Sonny can’t strong-arm some business owner into giving her a cushy managerial position? What’s the point of having a doting daddy who kills for a living?)

She’s also been boring. A romance with Valerie could be just the ticket to giving both a reason for existing. And, for that, Valerie needs to stick around.

Pass Key
Two boring people does not an exciting couple make, 37% counter. Valerie hasn’t clicked with anyone since she arrived, and it makes more sense for GH to just cut their losses.

A boring Spencer is worse than no Spencer at all, and if there’s a quota, you’d rather have Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) on more often to fulfill it.
