Morgan, Morgan, Morgan! Are General Hospital Fans Tired Of Hearing About Him?

Port Charles is a dangerous town, and General Hospital is constantly filled with victims of shootings, stabbings, beheadings, and childbirths on the side of the road (whatever happened to love in the afternoon?). Many of those folks die. They’re mourned, and then life goes on.

Except when it comes to Morgan Corinthos. He died two years ago, and yet his name keeps coming up even more frequently than Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey), who died more recently.

Heck, we’re betting Kiki (Hayley Erin) will be forgotten sooner than Morgan, and her body isn’t even cold yet!

Are fans tried to hearing about Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) golden child? Here’s how almost 6,000 viewers feel.

Normal families mourn their children for more than a few days, 51% of the audience reminds. It’s perfectly normal to keep speaking about a loved one years and decades after they’ve passed on.

Morgan was Sonny and Carly’s only biological child together, he meant a great deal to them, and they have every right to keep talking about him.

They are the show’s central couple and its core family (Hardy/Webber/Quartermaine/Spencer who?), so whatever is important to them is also important to viewers.

Plus, we all know Morgan is going to come back from the dead sooner or later. You want to remember who he is when he does!

But, an almost equal 49% has heard quite enough about Morgan, thank you very much. He wasn’t all that interesting alive, so dead he isn’t exactly compelling. Besides, it’s not like Carly and Sonny miss Morgan per se.

It’s more that they use his death to bludgeon Ava (Maura West) over the head, since they feel she is responsible for it, and it’s one of their many, many reasons why she shouldn’t be allowed near her own child, Avery.
