Mob or Not? General Hospital Fans Weigh in on Jason’s Next Career Move

It’s a brand-new old Jason on “General Hospital.” The man we all love has found his memories, but even he acknowledged today that a lot has changed since he last took orders from Sonny.

The one memory that brought it all flowing back was the night he met Sonny (Maurice Benard). He realized the Port Charles Teflon Don always gave him a choice–and his choice was being Sonny’s right-hand man. With his Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) memories now intact–but his Jason Quartermaine softness mixed in–could the mob ever again be in Jason’s future?

Soap Hub asked if you think Jason should return to a career beside Sonny or if he should go in another direction.

Of nearly 5,000 votes, 67% percent of you want Jason to forget the mob. You see how it took his life away for nearly four years and believe he sees it now, too. After all, when he walked onto that pier in 2012, he never realized what he had to live for because having a family with Sam(Kelly Monaco) and Danny was brand new. In fact, they only brought the little boy home that night. He now knows what can happen as a mob enforcer and you don’t want him to go through that again.

On the other hand, 29% of you can’t see Jason Morgan as anything else but Stone Cold, the mob enforcer who will do anything for Sonny. You feel the mob is in his blood and no matter how much he tries to escape, he can’t. You also want the “old” Jason back in every way, and that final step is returning to Sonny’s side.

A much smaller 4% don’t care. You’re just happy this long, overdrawn memory story is FINALLY OVER. Whatever Jason decides now, at least we can move onto something new.
