Soap opera fans know how to put two and two together, and General Hospital fans knew the moment that we heard about Nina’s miscarried child, that a grownup baby was going to pop up sooner or later.
Timing and the Silas (Michael Easton) factor pointed in great big letters to Kiki (Hayley Erin) being that baby. Ava (Maura West) could have kidnapped her and passed her off as her own as a way to hold onto the man she and Nina (Michelle Stafford) shared.
But then Silas died – pay no attention to the lookalike making out with Anna (Finola Hughes). That’s a McBain of a coincidence. And now Kiki is dead so even if Ava is the culprit, there’s not much of a payoff to be had.
When Madeline (Donna Mills) confessed that she’d given Nina’s daughter away, we thought we’d finally get an answer.
But, nope, Madeline is dead, too. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) popped up, but now we know she’s just a Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) plant. Which begs the question: Was Madeline even telling the truth?
She’s had a lifetime problem with the concept. Is there even a missing Nina child out there? Almost 7000 cast a vote and here are the results.
Oh, What a Tangled Web We Weave…
Of course, there is 53% insist. A story is always better than no story, and Nina turning out to have truly lost the child would be no story. The baby still being out there, even if it’s not Kiki or Sasha, is a tale that needs to be told!
…When We First Practice To Deceive
Just end this, a contrary 47% of you beg. We don’t care about Nina’s daughter, and the sooner Nina finds out that Valentin did all this to get back into her good graces, the sooner that sick relationship can end as well.
