Miss Drew: Are Fans Sorry To See Billy Miller Leave General Hospital?

And he’s outta here…General Hospital, that is. Billy Miller started as Jake Doe, married Sam (Kelly Monaco) as Jason Morgan, but left as Drew Cain. Are fans sorry to see him go? Here’s what almost 15,000 had to say:

Missing You
A majority 88% are shedding bitter tears over this departure. Drew was such a breath of fresh air in Port Charles. He actually spent time with Monica (Leslie Charleson)! He didn’t worship at the shrine of Sonny (Maurice Benard)! He spent time with his own kids, Scout and Oscar (Garren Stitt), and even with Jake and Danny, kids he learned weren’t his.

And now all that is at an end. You understand Drew needing to get of town. You understand Billy Miller wanting to try his hand at different roles. What you don’t understand is why you should have to suffer.

There was so much story potential left on the table here. You were eager to learn about Drew’s mysterious past — but not through Franco (Roger Howarth). Franco is the Drew he used to be. And you want more time with the Drew he is now.

I Ain’t Missing You At All
And then there is the 12% of you that never warmed up to this Jason (Steve Burton) wannabe. You wanted the original, monosyllabic hit-man, not this nice guy who respects his wife, loves his kids, and prefers a job on the right side of the law. Can you say boring? Can you say loser? Can you say don’t let the door hit you on the way out?

Miller should have been gone the minute Burton agreed to return. There’s only room for one son of Alan (Stuart Damon) and Susan (Gail Rae), and you prefer the one you watched grow up.
