Jason did his enforcer thing on General Hospital yesterday and got a hired hitman (Jason and the hitman have so much in common) to tell him who he’s working for — meaning who was behind the triple shooting that claimed Laura among the wounded last week.
He finally got a name out of him and that name was Cyrus Renault. According to Soaps In Depth, Renault is played by Jeff Kober, a veteran actor known for his work on such shows as Falcon Crest, China Beach, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Sons of Anarchy.
Apparently Cyrus is calling the shots (literally) from Pentonville, but what’s his beef with Sonny and does the Corbin clan of Gladys and Brando have anything to do with this mess?
Is he an old enemy recently detained at Pentonville or does Sonny know him from his time there with Julian and Ava several years back? Or perhaps Cyrus is not the head honcho and there’s someone familiar pulling the strings. Stay tuned to find out as a new mob war brews in a coffee warehouse. GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running sudser is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running sudser, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

More than five decades of gripping drama has kept the daytime sudser on the air as other soap operas were axed. It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air.
