It wasn’t too hard for General Hospital fans to notice that Danny looked a tad different and slightly older on Friday’s episode. And, that’s because a new young actor has taken over the role of Jason and Sam’s son.
Porter Fasullo has assumed the role of Danny from TK Weaver, who played the young man since 2016. Weaver’s social media accounts confirmed his departure from the soap as GH aired last week.
Various cast members, including Kelly Monaco and Steve Burton, sent well wishes to the actor who brought Danny to life for nearly three years.
Fasullo, our brand-new Danny, comes to GH with theater experience under his belt, having just wrapped production of Mary Poppins Junior. In fact, he loved doing the show so much, he made clay models of all the characters.
The young actor seems to have a love for theater, as his Instagram shows him seeing a production of Cats and looking forward to seeing Fiddler On The Roof. Instagram also tells us he is named for his great-grandfather, a WW II vet he remembered on Memorial Day.
Soap Hub welcomes Fasullo to the General Hospital cast and can’t wait to see what his Danny will bring.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
