Bundles Of Babies: Could Nina Also End Up Pregnant on General Hospital (GH)?

While pregnancies are a ridiculously common plot trope on soap operas, long-term fans know that more than one pregnant woman on the canvas can mean serious trouble–and General Hospital (GH) has its share right now.

(Unless, of course, it’s just a case of more than one actress being pregnant in real-life… As the World Turns went through a couple of such epidemics.).

And serious trouble usually comes in the form of a baby switch. One such swap-a-roo stretched all the way from All My Children to One Life to Live!

These days, on General Hospital (GH), Maxie (Kirsten Storms) is expecting her late husband, Nathan’s (Ryan Paevey) baby, while Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is using her impending bundle of joy to stick close to Michael (Chad Duell) – and stick it to his meddling mama, Carly (Laura Wright).

Fans are already worried there might be a last-minute swap (even money is on Nelle snatching Maxie’s tot). But what if a third bouncing baby is in play?

Could Nina find herself with a little Cassadine miracle? After all, she’s suddenly visiting Kim for consults to see if there’s any pregnancy hope. That can’t be out of nowhere. Here’s what almost 9,000 fans had to say:

Why Not?
Nina (Michelle Stafford) has wanted a baby of her own ever since she woke up from her 20-year coma (and some viewers aren’t 100% convinced that her ‘miscarriage’ actually happened). She even cut Avery out of Ava’s (Maura West) uterus, and played house with ‘Jamie’ for a few weeks. So… you know, woman doesn’t play.

Which is why 59% of you are totally open to the idea of Nina getting her wish. No matter how old – and allegedly barren – she might be.

We don’t need another baby, 40% of the audience are channeling Tina Turner. Maxie and Nelle are enough for you to worry about, we don’t need to add Nina to the list.

Besides, a baby might tie Nina to Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and the Cassadines for good. And as Laura (Genie Francis) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) found out before her, that’s…not good.
