Maybe Baby: Should Julian Have Agreed To Kim’s Plan On General Hospital?

No one is blaming Kim for hurting on General Hospital. She just lost her only son. Oscar (Garren Stitt) was Kim’s whole world, especially before she found Drew (Billy Miller) again, or had Julian (William DeVry) in her life. It’s no surprise she’s at loose ends.

Or that she wants to have another baby — ASAP — to fill the emptiness she’s feeling. Kim approached Julian. He said… um, I don’t think that’s a great idea right now. (She also approached Drew…and Shiloh, but for slightly different reasons. Oy.) Was Julian right? Almost 10,000 fans offered a second opinion.

Trouble Spot
Julian — and Kim (Tamra Braun) — do not need this right now, 90% of you could not be more certain. She’s at loose ends, flailing, lost, desperate. That is not the proper state of mind in which to have a baby. Plus, one child can never replace another. That’s bad for everyone involved.

Julian should not be used that way. If he and Kim ever do decide to have a child, it should be for the right reasons. And these reasons are not they.

We’re not saying pull the plug on Julian and Kim. They have their moments. Just slow your roll. And let us come along for the ride.

What Could Go Wrong?
Oh, why not, a minority 10% of the audience is shrugging. Could be fun. Something to do. Julian didn’t get to raise Sam (Kelly Monaco) nor Lucas (Ryan Carnes).

Remember how excited he got when Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) tried to trick him into thinking she could be pregnant? Julian was so eager for it to happen, he lost the ability to do basic math…or biology.

So why not have a baby with Kim. It’s what both of them want. And every child is a miracle. This one would be particularly wanted. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
