In the May 7 episode of General Hospital, Cassius spilled all to Josslyn, telling her his life story. Cassius revealed how he took over Nathan’s life and his childhood, which included if Liesl knew about him. Josslyn learned more than she bargained for as Cassius made it clear he’s in control of what happens next with her.

Key Takeaways

  • Cassius revealed his true identity to Josslyn.
  • He issued a dire warning to her.
  • Something isn’t right with Cassius.

Josslyn Met Cassius Faison

A trapped Josslyn (Eden McCoy) desperately tried to escape but failed miserably when Cassius (Ryan Paevey) busted her. Cassius made it clear there was no way out for Josslyn and ordered her to step away from the door.

Josslyn tried to reason with Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and pleaded with him to let her help. It didn’t do her any good, though, because Cassius revealed his identity. Cassius explained that Cesar (Anders Hove) kept him a secret his whole life and raised him on his own.

It turned out that Liesl (Kathleen Gati) was told that Cassius died at birth and believed that Nathan was her only surviving son. That was a major burning question GH fans had been asking since the bombshell was dropped that Nathan had a twin, so we got that answered.

Cassius Stepped into the Role of Nathan Easily

Josslyn didn’t just learn that she wasn’t dealing with Nathan West; she discovered how Cassius pulled off being his dead twin brother.

Cassius filled her in on how he had taken Nathan’s body from his grave. He explained that he had hacked into the PCPD database to replace his fingerprints with Nathan’s.

Once that was done, Cassius just had to be the nice, sweet, honest Nathan, which he was, and everyone bought it from the second he returned from the dead.

Well, not everyone. As Josslyn pointed out, Anna (Finola Hughes) questioned whether Nathan was the real deal, but the fingerprints, DNA, and his Nathan attitude convinced even her.

What Cassius did to Nathan and how he stepped into being him were more burning questions fans had. Thanks to Josslyn being nosy, those have been answered, too.

Josslyn Gets a Reality Check

After spilling all the tea to Josslyn, Cassius added that Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) outed her as a WSB agent, sending her into a fit of rage. Despite all of her pleading that people would be looking for her, Cassius wasn’t buying what she was selling.

Cassius reminded her that nobody would suspect Nathan had anything to do with Josslyn going missing, and Britt certainly wouldn’t out him. The only two people Britt and Cassius care about protecting are Rocco (Finn Carr) and James (Gary James Fuller).

Josslyn isn’t wrong about people looking for her. Carly (Laura Wright) has already sounded the alarm bells because of what went down between her, Jack (Chris McKenna), and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart).

However, as Cassius told her, at this moment, he’s her only shot at staying alive, so she’d better listen.

The warning meant even more when it became clear later that something was off with Cassius as he laid his head against the wall. What’s wrong with remains to be seen, but it certainly added a new layer to Cassius drama.
