Maxie’s Coming Home on General Hospital (GH)! Kirsten Storms Teases When!

It’s as if Maxie stopped existing on General Hospital (GH) soon after her long-awaited wedding to Nathan West.

We know that Maxie has been in Portland working and bonding with daughter, Georgie, but just last week, Nathan (Ryan Paevey) was heartbroken when Maxie decided to extend her stay.

He wondered if Maxie would ever come back, but we knew there’s no way she could stay away from Port Charles forever and now actress Kirsten Storms insists her return is not far away.

Storms responded to a tweet last week asking when she’ll be returning to our GH screens, saying “Soon-ish.”

While “soon-ish” is certainly vague, it does tell us Maxie won’t be gone for months on end and the newlyweds will likely reunite this summer.

This is Storms’ second leave of absence from the soap in the past year. Last spring and early summer, the actress left due to stress-induced skin issues after her split from Brandon Barash.

Her current absence has not been fully explained, but reports were always that it would be temporary and Storms was still on contract with the show.
