Maurice Benard plays a terrifying (at times) mobster who will do anything for his family on General Hospital (GH).
Off screen, the actor sometimes acts like teddy bear — or at least plays with them. In a recent posting to Instagram, Benard shared a super sweet video of himself using a bear as a puppet.
He likes the way puppets help with kids and in this case, the way it helped him to interact with his youngest co-star, Grace Scarola, one of the twins who plays onscreen daughter, Avery.
Apparently, sometimes puppets can scare kids. No, not young Grace. Ironically, it was another one of Sonny’s kids–the late Morgan. Or, rather actor Bryan Craig, who was the most traumatized by Benard’s puppet play with the little girl.
Check out his comment in the video posted below — and then watch the adorable video for yourself and decide. Scary? Or just plain adorable?
