Maurice Benard Reveals Brand-New Book Cover

He’s had the dream for years and now General Hospital star Maurice Benard is making it a reality as his book about mental health is that much closer to being released — and he wants you to know just how you can have one hot off the presses.

The handsome actor proudly showed off pictures of his new book cover, with the help of good pal and onscreen BFF Steve Burton (Jason) in an Instagram (see below). Also joining him in pictures to share the amazing news were several of his Port Charles pals as well as real-life son, Joshua.

“I’m so emotional and proud to be able to finally let everyone read about the story of my life in Nothing General About It,” he wrote in the caption. The actor’s smile told the story of just how happy he truly is about this huge accomplishment.

“I’ve been passionate about Mental Health for the past 30 years because the most important thing to me is that this book helps people reach a positive State of Mind. There is also Romance, Family and let’s not forget Buddy the Goat.”

Nothing General About It will be released on April 7, 2020, but you can already pre-order the hot commodity by clicking right here. It’s a good bet that as it gets closer to being published, Benard will be revealing more and more about what fans will be able to learn in this passion project.

As fans wait for the highly-anticipated tome to reach bookshelves, at least they will still get their Benard fix each week as Sonny continues to push the action in Port Charles. And considering the fact that a new baby Corinthos is getting ready to push their way into the world, it’s a safe bet Benard will be kept very busy onscreen.
