Maura West had quite the year on General Hospital (GH), as Ava went through quite the transformation after being disfigured by a fire. Of course, she got her face back in the end, but ended up in a romance with a priest along the way.
West’s performance earned the talented actress a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, an award she’s won several times before going back to her time on As the World Turns.
