Matt Cohen is best known to soap audiences for playing priest-turned-doctor Griffin Munro on General Hospital, but he has also appeared as Young John Winchester in Supernatural and Aiden Dennison on South of Nowhere.

Who Is Matt Cohen?

Cohen was born on September 28 in Miami, Florida. He grew up playing football and ran track in high school. He attended Florida State, where he studied business, but he did enroll in a few acting classes. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time.

Adrenaline Junkie
Along with acting, Cohen is a big adrenaline junkie. He grew up competing in motocross and still loves to race dirt bikes and ride his motorcycles when he’s not busy acting or directing on set.

While he stays busy with acting, Matt Cohen is also a red carpet reporter! He has been working with Entertainment Tonight and has done recent interviews with stars such as Ken Jeong, James Corden, Nick Cannon, and others. Cohen has shared photos of his interviews on Instagram.

Cohen has appeared on many primetime shows over the years, including recurring roles on 90210 as Jeremy, Syd on Rockville CA, Matt on Kings of Con, and as Levi on How to Get Away With Murder — as well as guest shots on The O.C., The Client List, and Melissa & Joey.

Getting Personal with Matt Cohen

Cohen married his South of Nowhere co-star, Mandy Musgrave, on May 18, 2011. The couple had been together for years before tying the knot. They have a son together named Macklin, who was born in April 2015, and Cohen frequently shares sweet photos of his family on Instagram. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
