General Hospital (GH) has such an enormous cast of both recurring and contract players, we barely get to see some of these favorites each year. In fact, some are seen so infrequently you can count their appearances on your hand.
However, these characters are beloved, so Soap Hub asked which ones you absolutely want and need to see more of in the coming year.
Legal Eagle
She’s smart, she’s witty, and she always makes you laugh and that’s why 42% of you want to see more Diane in 2018. She’s mentioned almost every week, but sometimes we go months without a spotting and there’s something wrong with that. Give Carolyn Hennessy the spotlight and she’s sure to shine, GH.
Tried And True
Mac (John J. York) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) have been mainstays since the 1990s and at one time, they even had front-burner storylines, but sadly that’s a thing of the past. However, they are still vital characters with familial ties in town and 31% of you want to see more of them anytime, anywhere.

Young And Spry
They’re cute, they’re smart, they’re young, and they have chemistry to spare. That’s why 18% of you want to see more of Molly (Haley Pullos) and TJ (Tequan Richmond). GH definitely needs a young college set and well, these two are in college, have a stable relationship, and can often be the voice of reason in an insane town.
Just What The Doctor (And Nurse) Ordered
The final 9% of you love those two hospital ladies who have been around since the 70s making people well, making people smile, and making people tune in. Bring us more Monica (Leslie Charleson) and Bobbie (Jackie Zeman), you say, because characters like them are what GH is all about.
