The Man Who Ate Port Charles: Too Much Shiloh on General Hospital?

The thing about cults is they worm their way into every aspect of life…especially on General Hospital. If Shiloh (Coby Ryan MacLaughlin) had just stayed in his own lane, running his little Day Of Dawn sect on the outskirts of Port Charles, it would have been one thing.

But, no! It’s like he’s got his finger in every storyline pie. He and Drew (Billy Miller) share a secret military past Drew doesn’t remember — but Shiloh worries he might.

He got a pledge from Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson), Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), and Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth), which brought Sonny (Maurice Benard), Carly (Laura Wright), Jason (Steve Burton), and Sam (Kelly Monaco) into the mix, along with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn).

Plus, he’s also the presumed daddy of the baby Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Brad (Parry Shen), who is really Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) spawn. Honestly, with the way Shiloh is going, it’s amazing he wasn’t a kidney match for Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry)! How much Shiloh is too much? Almost 5,000 fans didn’t pull their punches!

Much Ado About Nothing
For 98% of you, this has been overkill. You realize Shiloh fancies himself a god, but does that mean he needs to be everywhere at all times?

Even when he’s not on-screen, he’s being talked about. Sonny, Jason, and Sam needed a plan to rescue Kristina from him, Willow told Chase (Josh Swickard) about him, and Margaux is leaving town partially due to him. It’s The Shiloh Show — for sure!

Too Much Is Never Enough
Only 2% of the audience doesn’t feel like Shiloh has been shoved down their throats. This group finds him fascinating and wants to learn more. It’s about time someone other than Sonny or Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) made the good people of Port Charles quake in their boots.
