When General Hospital fans first met Liesl Obrecht, she was a sour-faced hench-woman obsessed with a villainous boss and happy to lock up Robin and throw away the key. She didn’t even have a first name!

As the years went on, however, we learned that the status of her relationship with Faison (Anders Hove) went far beyond a Facebook “it’s complicated.” She worshiped him. He treated her like dirt and obsessed over Anna (Finola Hughes).

She gave him a daughter, Britt (Kelly Thibaud). He longed for a son. She gave him a son, Nathan (Ryan Paevey)… and handed him over to her sister, Madeline (Donna Mills) to raise. Because… reasons.

Liesl (Kathleen Gati) lost Faison. She lost Nathan. Britt is goodness knows where. Is it time for this bad girl to find love? Over 5,000 viewers considered the possibility:

If Franco (Roger Howarth) the serial killer can get Liz (Rebecca Herbst), and Jason (Steve Burton) the hitman can have Sam (Kelly Monaco), and Sonny (Maurice Benard) gets…everyone, then why not throw a few crumbs Liesl’s way? We know she can sing. And she’s done enough singing the blues.
