On General Hospital, Alexis is always talking about how she doesn’t need a man to feel complete. Which is good. Because she is completely awful at maintaining a relationship.
Despite her frequent protestations of being a good, moral, upstanding person, she does love herself the bad boys.
She has a daughter with Sonny (Maurice Benard), killer, mobster, mumbler. She has a daughter with Ric (Rick Hearst), killer, kidnapper, blackmailer. And she has a daughter, Sam (Kelly Monaco), with Julian (William DeVry), ex-mobster, ex-killer, now pub owner.
None of them ended well. Many of them with violence.
So, does Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) deserve yet another shot at love? Here’s where over 8,000 fans stand.
Let Her Have It
Of course, 57% insist, everyone deserves to be loved. Just because Alexis is uniquely bad at it doesn’t mean she should give up. The real problem is her choices.
Any guy with a warped moral code – but a really good excuse about why, not to mention killer dimples, a great head of hair, or abs that go on for days – instantly climbs right to the top of her must-date list.
Alexis needs to get a bit more choosy. Start slowly. Maybe weed out guys who’ve served time. Then move onto those who should have served time, but escaped their penalties due to the brilliance of good pal Diane (Carolyn Hennessey).
Finally, be a little less shallow. Those dimples, hair, and abs aren’t a good enough reason to forgive…everything.
Give It Up
Nope, 43% counter. Alexis had her chances. So many chances. And she blew it. Sure, the guys were at fault, too. But Alexis has to bear some blame for hooking up with them in the first place. If Alexis wants to keep hooking up with bad guys, she’s got to expect bad endings.
