Despite Bryan Craig re-tweeting a poll last month sparking debate about whether he plans to return to General Hospital, it looks like that’s just not in the cards, according to his onscreen mom, Laura Wright.
Wright told Soap Hub that while she thinks it was a good idea to not have anyone in Port Charles find Morgan’s body, Craig is not coming back to the show.
“I’m sure they’d love to have the character back some day, but as of right now Bryan Craig is not coming back.
Bryan Craig left the show in order to pursue other things. I’m guessing in any normal soap world — they don’t find a body, [so] it’s smart to leave things open.”
She duly noted that Morgan is the only blood child between longtime supercouple Sonny and Carly, but we know he is not their only child, as they raised Michael together–and Sonny even adopted him.
While someone else could play the role of Morgan one day soon if the writers decide, Wright is insistent that it won’t be Craig.
“I just want to say I know for a fact, right now, Bryan Craig is not coming back.”
Sorry, GH fans. We know you miss him, but right now a comeback from the Emmy-winning actor just doesn’t seem to be in the cards.
