We watched Kristen Alderson grow up from an adorable and precocious little girl as Starr Manning on One Life to Live, and then followed her to General Hospital, where she played both Starr and Kiki Jerome. Now that little girl is all grown up.
Alderson was born on May 29, 1991, which means she turned 27 years old on Tuesday. My how time flies.
The Pennsylvania native was only six years old when she landed the role of Todd and Blair’s daughter on OLTL. She earned herself a contract three years later and brought Starr into young adulthood as she experienced a teenage pregnancy.
When OLTL was cancelled, Starr moved to Port Charles, NY, but an legal dispute over ABC’s right to the character offered Alderson another opportunity when she created the role of Kiki.
Alderson left GH to move back east in 2015, earning herself a real estate license. She’s also appearing in the off-Broadway musical, The Marvelous Wonderettes.
Soap Hub hope Alderson had the happiest of birthdays and you can wish her well too with the tweet link below.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
