General Hospital Star Kin Shriner Celebrates An INCREDIBLE Milestone

General Hospital (GH) fan fave and mainstay Kin Shriner is celebrating a very special day today as it’s his birthday.

Shriner, who has a twin brother, Wil (who is also clearly celebrating today), was born on December 6, 1953 in New York City. His father was a famed TV personality in the mid-20th century, but sadly the boys’ parents died when they were in their teens and they were raised by grandparents.

The GH star was only 24 years old when he landed the role of Scott Baldwin back in 1977. At the time, Scott was a sweet young law student who fell for Laura Webber. They married young, but Scott became bitter when Laura left him for Luke.

Scott has been a scoundrel lawyer ever since, and every time he appears on GH now it’s a thrill for fans as he adds humor and familiarity to Port Charles.
