After Incredible Journey of a Year, Kimberly McCullough Is Pregnant

As 2016 began, General Hospital star Kimberly McCullough revealed a sad and shocking truth on her personal blog.

A few months prior in September, she lost a baby more than halfway through the pregnancy. Fans were heartbroken to hear the story from a woman we watched grow from a girl on screen, but her story is not over.

After an incredible year of personal and professional growth (in which she made GH appearances and furthered her directing career), McCullough announced on her blog last night that she and her partner (who she doesn’t name for privacy reasons) are expecting another child in 2017. The actress learned the news just before moving into a new home in Ojai, CA.

“Two weeks before we moved in, I found out I was pregnant again. And although I no longer have the luxury of being naive, I can’t help but think the timing is just perfect. Despite all the politics…this year has been such a blessing. Thank you for letting me share the good, the bad and the ugly with you.”
