The Perfect Two-Kiki Reunion As Ava Avenges Her Death On General Hospital

It was an amazing weekend at Marco Island as stars from the various soaps gathered to raise money for children with autism — and it was a reunion of sorts for the actresses who played the late and lamented Kiki Jerome on General Hospital. After watching their onscreen mom go after Kiki’s killer, the two women spoke with Soap Hub.

Neither Kristen Alderson, who originated the role of Kiki, nor Hayley Erin, who replaced her until her terrible end at the hands of Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), had seen the powerful scene from Friday’s episode in which Ava (Maura West) stuck a knife in the back of the man who killed her daughter.

Both actresses had a visceral reaction to being shown the clip, with Erin telling Soap Hub that it gave her chills. This wasn’t the first time these two actresses have met — not by a longshot — and you will see. The picture above, taken by Sue Phillips, shows their affection.

Asked to do a quick video for fans about their reaction to seeing their character avenged, both were completely game and had a blast as they not only praised their onscreen mother, whom they obviously both adore, but also shared how they felt about having been picked to play the same character — complimenting GH casting director, Mark Teschner.

They’re absolutely right. Once you see them together and interacting, it becomes obvious that they truly do have similar energy. But that’s not all you’ll see them discuss. You will get to see them address what they would love to see happen next.
