The Kelly Monaco and Michael Easton Reunion on General Hospital

Michael Easton has been back roaming the halls of General Hospital for months as Dr. Hamilton Finn, but he’s yet to run into Kelly Monaco’s Sam. Fans wondered when that moment would come–and now we know it’s next week.

Is There a Doctor in the House?
According to the August 15 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Sam decides to learn what her fainting spells are all about so she visits GH for some tests. Yes, that’s right. Dr. Finn will perform those tests–but that’s about as far as it goes.

Longtime fans will remember that Monaco and Easton were paired years ago on the GH spin-off, Port Charles. More recently, Silas Clay (Easton’s last GH incarnation) was Sam’s first love interest after Jason’s alleged death in 2012. Sam even arranged Silas’s memorial service when he was killed last summer.

When Dr. Finn first arrived on the scene, several doctors and nurses noted his resemblance to Dr. Clay, but it turns out Sam won’t. According to Digest, the writers feel Finn has been around long enough to stand as a character on his own.

What Is Wrong With Sam?
So, that leaves us with the question of why Sam is fainting to begin with. Jasam fans hope she’s pregnant, but there might be something else going on. Dr. Finn is an infectious disease doctor after all and you never know what Sam may have picked up during her Cassadine Island travels this summer. Hopefully, she doesn’t have to confer with Tracy…
