It’s a very special milestone for General Hospital (GH) star, Billy Miller, because today is his birthday.
The Texas-born star entered this world on September 17, 1979 as William John Miller. Raised in Grand Prairie, he attended the University of Texas in Austin before leaving to become an actor.
Miller made his first mark in daytime on the now-defunct soap, All My Children, as Richie Novak. But it was his role as Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless (YR) that put him on the daytime map.
While there, he won three Daytime Emmys — two for Outstanding Supporting Actor and one for Outstanding Lead Actor.
He’s also had success away from daytime. He’s appeared in primetime on both CSI and CSI: New York, Justified, Castle, and Major Crimes. He also had multi-episode arcs on Ray Donovan, Suits, and Ringer, and appeared in the blockbuster American Sniper.
Miller shares this special day with his on-screen son, TK Weaver, who plays Danny. On-screen wife Kelly Monaco posted a very special birthday message to Miller. You can see it below. Soap Hub wishes both Miller and Weaver a very happy birthday.
