She’s one of General Hospital’s most popular actresses and almost always involved with a front burner story. That makes Kelly Monaco quite a busy woman, but today is a day for her as she celebrates a special one.
Monaco was born on May 23, 1976 in Philadelphia, PA, making her 42 years old today. The actress started her career as a Playboy Playmate in 1996 and parlayed her career into acting soon after with a role on Baywatch.
In 1999, she entered the Port Charles world on the GH spin-off aptly titled Port Charles. Monaco played two different characters on that soap between 1999 and 2003, Livvie Locke and Tess Ramsey.
Soon after that show was cancelled, she morphed into Sam McCall on GH and the rest is daytime history.
Monaco is also quite the dancer, being the first season winner on Dancing With The Stars. She’s appeared on the competition series several times since then, even as recently as last fall.
