In the June 29 episode of General Hospital, things went from bad to worse for Cassius as his lie was exposed to more than one person. Cassius made a desperate move that only dug him deeper into a hole as the truth about him came to light.

Key Takeaways

  • Anna proved to Felicia that Nathan is really Cassius.
  • Sidwell exposed Cassius to Ezra and Detective Joe.
  • Cassius followed Sidwell’s orders, but the damage to his cover is done.

Felicia Got a Clue

Even though she was skeptical, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) listened as Anna (Finola Hughes) revealed that Nathan (Ryan Paevey) was an imposter. Anna explained that when she escaped, she went to a home Faison (Anders Hove) had on the Swiss border.

While Anna was looking for proof that Faison was alive, she found a letter from Madeline (Donna Mills) to Faison that talked about Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati) two sons. Felicia read the letter, but still wasn’t convinced that Cassius (Ryan Paevey) was Nathan’s twin.

After a little back and forth with Anna, Felicia started to think about certain behaviors of “Nathan” like dating Lulu (Alexa Havins). Suddenly, it all made sense to Felicia, and she immediately told Mac (John J. York) as they feared for James (Gary James Fuller).

That means three more people know the truth about Cassius, but they weren’t the last ones who learned his secret.

Sidwell Blows Cassius Cover

It should surprise no one that Sidwell (Carlo Rotta) threw Cassius under the bus the second he was in danger of being caught. “Nathan” gave the PCPD information about Sidwell’s hideout that he had gotten from Laura (Genie Francis) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper).

Joe (Jonathan Bennett) was staking out the place when “Nathan” showed up to help. Cassius was under orders from Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) to kill Sidwell, but put on his “Nathan” face as he and Joe found Ezra (Daniel Cosgrove) and Sidwell at the house.

The second “Nathan” and Joe busted in on them, Sidwell exposed all about Cassius to the detective and Ezra. Joe didn’t buy it at first. Then, on Sidwell’s orders, Cassius turned his gun on Joe and told him to drop his gun.

Cassius Can’t Escape What’s Coming

So many people now know the truth about Cassius, and his lies are falling apart all around him. Once Mac and Felicia get back, they will be searching for concert proof that “Nathan” is Cassius.

Then again, Cassius has bigger problems than Felicia and Mac. Sidwell has no problem running his mouth, so if Cassius can’t keep him quiet, everything they have worked for will fall apart.

Cassius’ world has begun to spiral out of control; he just doesn’t know how bad it is yet. There’s a lot on the line for him, and in the end, he will have to choose what’s really important. Completing what he started with Sidwell and Cullum or protecting those he has grown to love as he impersonated his brother.

GH’s preview video teased that Liesl finishes Faison’s final project, while Cassius spends time with James. Those two things are key moments this week and hints that Cassius likely won’t be in Port Charles much longer.
