Josh Swickard Talks General Hospital Nurses Ball and Willow Romance

It was an amazing weekend at Soapfest and, on the cruise around Marco Island, General Hospital star Josh Swickard opened up about this year’s Nurses Ball experience — as well as fan reaction to his character’s falling for Willow.

The Nurses Ball brought out another amazing performance from the talented actor, who plays Detective Harrison Chase. You would think hours and hours of rehearsal would have gone into that performance, but Swickard gives the scoop on how quickly they were able to pull it off.

But romance is what makes soaps must-see viewing for fans and right now, he’s in the middle of one doozy of a story. There are few couples who have caught on as quickly as Chase and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Their tender story has really caught fire — and not just with fans.

Find out how Swickard feels about the pairing of the optimistic detective and the troubled grade school teacher, escaping from a cult leader who made her life a living hell. While she’s made the clean break, Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) remains a dangerous obstacle who could cause a lot of trouble for the young couple.

After all, Shiloh was the father of her young son, who she thinks is Wiley. All hell will break loose when that secret is revealed — especially when she eventually learns that her son died.
