Today is soap veteran Cady McClain’s birthday and she got a big shoutout from her biggest fan — her husband, General Hospital star Jon Lindstrom. The real-life soap supercouple brings a smile to our faces as we always enjoy when they celebrate each other.
Jon Lindstrom Gives Birthday Wishes
The Daytime Emmy nominated actor took to Instagram to share his very sweet message about his beloved wife, who is getting ready to have her first appearance as Jennifer on Days of our Lives soon.
“Just want to publicly shout out a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my gorgeous, inspiring, gifted wife, Cady McClain,” he wrote, adding her own Instagram handle and some hashtags, “@cadymcclain #HappyBirthday #OctoberBaby.”
Lindstrom certainly has learned a thing or two about romance on soaps, having been on them for the better part of 35 years. He joined his first soap, Rituals, back in 1984 and he’s been steadily working pretty much ever since. Back on Valentine’s Day, which is also the couple’s anniversary, he made another heartwarming post to his wife.

He wrote alongside a stunning picture of them, “6 years officially hitched to this dynamo I get to call my wife. How did I get so lucky? How did I ever come to make a great decision like this? I wouldn’t know.
“I try to listen to my gut and all things important, and my gut said ‘Grab her, you idiot, and don’t let go!’ Happy anniversary, @cadymcclain thank you for 6 wonderful years!
